ANTIQUE BRASS AND IRON BEDSTEADS![]() ![]() ![]() |
Life became very exciting when one cold winter’s morning we had an unexpected call. To our amazement it was an enquiry from Warner Brothers, looking for brass and iron beds to use in their series of Harry Potter films.

The set dressers have been up to Lincolnshire on occasion, choosing specific beds for the films. They purchased thirteen for The Goblet of Fire; 11 for the Weasley Tent, including two for Mr & Mrs Weasley and one each for Harry and Ron in an opening scene. They then bought four beds for The Order of the Pheonix.
To be associated with such a worldwide distinguished series of books and films has been fantastic fun and a real privilege. We were invited down to the studios to see our beds on set, and even got a glimpse of Ron Weasley, his family and even Harry himself.
Needless to say, when we went to Louth cinema is watch The Goblet of Fire, seeing Harry & Ron using our beds on the big screen was really quite magical.
